IGNITE 2023
Queen's Feminist Leadership in Politics is so excited to present our first in-person conference in three years: Ignite 2023
Over the course of two days, delegates will get to hear from a diverse range of inspirational speakers involved in the realms of politics and advocacy, participate in workshops to grow their understand of certain issues and skills, and meet an array of likeminded individuals who are all looking to make a change.
Ignite 2023 will take place Saturday, February 4th and Sunday, February 5th at the Holiday Inn Kingston-Waterfront in Kingston, ON. Exact start and end times will be communicated in the weeks prior to the conference.
Can't make it to Kingston? QFLIP will be offering a virtual option as well so you can hear from our impressive lineup of speakers in the comfort of your own home!
Refund policy: For logistical reasons, we can only accept refund requests for in-person tickets up to 14 days before the conference (January 21st). Online tickets can be refunded by request at any time prior to February 4th.
Questions? Don't hesitate to reach out to delegates.qflip@gmail.com and we would be happy to help out!
Why Ignite? To us, Ignite is symbolic of the process of creating change. It begins at the individual level, when a small flame is ignited, and then spreads like wildfire to become a movement. While creating meaningful change as one person can seem like a daunting task, Ignite serves as a reminder that every small spark of an act is vital to the raging fire that is the ongoing fight for representation and equality. This is true in every realm of advocacy - women’s rights, LGBTQ2SIA+ rights, Indigenous rights, disability rights, and more. We hope that Ignite can highlight the power we each have to make a difference and serve as a call to action for individuals who need some inspiration to help kick-start their journey as a changemaker. This year at QFLIP, we want everyone to ask themselves an important question: If not me, then who?
